Sanlayons meet at Davao

The schedule of interview for O3 at EASTMINCOM, Davao City was an opportunity for Sanlayons to meet. Although everyone was very busy preparing themselves for the PFT and interview, SMS messages, calls and short talks kept the mistahs updated especially on our whereabouts.

Mistahs who had their interview at Davao were Lemuel, Aye, Tom Cruise, Merong, Archie, Monte, Edwin, Parts, Regie and Bubs.

Class Meeting

WHEREABOUTS PART 1

Aye Cabatski visited Parts sa 5LAB last April. Accordingly, Aye is in 6ID. Som is presently the Acting S3 and S7 of the HHBn ng LAD (kapalit ni Parts sa pagpi-PL sa mga parada-congratulations bok! pagbalik daw diyan ni parts magmasteral na siya sa parada:-)) Jo ay palaging naaadmit sa ospital pero sa NCRCOM parin siya assign. The last time I saw Hex was last Sep 08, CO siya ng isang DRC ng 7ID. Jamarts is now a certified mounted warrior- he is presently assigned at 4LAB stationed at Lucena. Accordingly, he is the acting S2 and S3 ng battalion. Sam or Tags is also assigned at 4LAB pero CO na siya ng isang kompanya stationed at Mindoro (hello sa mga mangyans bok!) Si Cay ay nasa Bukidnon sa engineers parin (when kaya kami magkikita e pagpumunta sya dito sa 4ID palagi ako may biyahe). Si Bacs ay CO ng MP Coy ng 4ID. Si Nadz naman, balita e lumabas na ng service. In fact, sa account niya sa friendster ang mga pictures niya ay kuha sa ibang bansa kasama pa mga foreigner. Sila Gabs, Bernz, Prex, Balgs ay katatapos lang ng Advance Infantry Officers Course. Mga bok text naman kau para malaman san na kau now. Si Che naman ay diyan na sa HPA sa isang confid na office while Albe is in Tanay sa FAB naman siya. Parts is in 5LAB busy sa log lalo na mga tangke assets nila dapat well-maintained. In addition, sa syite rin sya nakatuka (on deck narin para mag-CO ng kompanya). Si Corong (Smiley) naman, huling text niya ay malipat na raw siya sa NCOA from OCS (2 ng mistah napunta sa skul- si Corong at Parts). Si Marz naman cguro busy sa pagpapalipad ng cessna sa Army Aviation Battalion (bok airworthy ba lahat air assets niyo at sana mabawasan yang flying pay mo- magpaburger ka naman). Si DF nasa NCRCOM pa gang ngaun. Para sa ibang mistah, inform niyo naman kami whereabouts niyo at nang makapag-get-together tau lalo na malapit na ang interview for promotion.

Sanlayon Mounted Warriors

Three members of the Sanlayon Class took the Armor Officer Advance Course Class 23-08 at Combat Arms School, TRADOC, PA and The Armor School, Light Armor Division, Philippine Army last quarter of CY 2008. Said course is a prerequisite for armor officers prior to their designation as Company Commanders of the Light Armor Battalions of LAD. The class was composed of twenty students; five came from the infantry divisions, one foreign student (Malaysian) and forteen were organic to the Light Armor Division.
